The nice thing about passion projects is you can explore business ideas no matter how absurd they are. As a lover of cats, plants, and coffee, it was only natural I would try my hand at designing a cafe cafe/plant store hybrid! A place where cats hang out amongst pet-friendly house plants, AND you can get a craft latte or cappuccino.
The branding needed to be friendly, with cats and plants at the center. Organic, round shapes build the foundation of the brand. The combination logo exemplifies this graphic direction–there's not one sharp angle to be found. A playful tilt in the symbol highlights the unique and enjoyable experience of going to a cat cafe/plant store. A soft shaped pattern appears throughout the brand, and more defined cat stickers add an extra fun touch.
